Dear Precious partners and friends: March 4th, 2010
We greet you in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved because He died and rose again to redeem us from sin and death. We rejoice that our Lord uses us in His kingdom work at this time when the world needs Jesus so much. As the dark clouds increase around us, our light shines brighter.
The above photograph was taken at ElsinoreChristianCenterwhere we ministered on Sunday morning and in the evening at a special Valentines banquet. It was so very special because they invited everyone, married couples, singles, and everyone in between. Because it was such a varied audience, we left our notes aside and just trusted the Lord to put it together, so we could touch everyone. The Holy Spirit took over and it was really an awesome happening. It seemed like everything I said brought laughter as I shared how Jackie and I met and some events in our lives. I spoke on the love of God towards us and the real love we all need to live by as detailed in 1 Cor. 13 which is so different than what the world perceives as love. Jackie had shared in the morning about offences and kept on the same direction, sharing that we have opportunities to pick up offences all the time but that we have a choice to do it or not. We could feel the walls coming down as the Holy Spirit was digging deep to set people free.
When I made the altar call, hands went up for everything I named. Jackie and I had them repeat a long prayer for salvation, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance, breaking family curses, choosing to forgive. Then we prayed for almost everyone individually, it was a wholesale blessing from heaven, with many on the floor overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit. One young woman was standing in a corner looking so hurt and when Jackie saw her, she made her way to her and said youre hurting arent you. She fell in her arms sobbing her heart out and fell on the floor and was there a long time. We found out later that her husband had recently left her and their two young children. Someone in the church had invited her to come to the banquet and after being prayed for, she told them tonight I had an encounter with God. What a wonderful Lord we serve.
ElsinoreChristianCenter, pastored by Jim and Carol Hilbrant is a special place for us. Our relationship goes back many years and they are two of the most loving people we know. The Sunday morning meeting was wonderful, great worship, then Jackie and I shared under a strong anointing and almost everyone came forward for prayer. Before we prayed, I had a public word of prophecy for a couple, which was revealing, healing and brought freedom. Many fell on the floor overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit. Some laughed, some cried, we experienced a visitation from the Holy Spirit. What a joy to see all this in one day and you, our partners, share in the eternal rewards with us. What a privilege we have to serve the King while on this earth.
Next Sunday, we will be at RanchoChristianCenter, pastored by Dave and Vivian Cunningham, who oversee the ElsinoreChurchas well as other churches and ministries. We also have a loving relationship with them dating back to the late 60s. They blessed us by attending the Valentine Banquet and we had great fellowship. Theirs is also a wonderful church and we know the Lord will bless us richly by His Spirit.
We attended a conference on healing and deliverance at JubileeChurchin Camarillo, pastored by Steve and Cammie Ditmar, a precious couple that we have known for many years. The Lord also blessed us by meeting different people who were touched by the Lord through our ministry. A young pastor told me that he was touched by the Holy Spirit three times in his life and twice it was when I laid hands and prophesied over him. The first time was at a bible school and the next time at a church meeting. While he was telling me this, a pastor who was with him told me that he and his wife were touched by the Holy Spirit years ago when I prayed for them. A lady told us that when we prayed for her in a church several years ago, the back pain she had had for over 20 years left and has never come back. It is encouraging to know that as we minister by faith, the Lords strength is made perfect in spite of our weakness.
I just returned from a week-end at WellspringChurchof all Nations in Las Vegas, pastored by long time friends, George and Sharon Stover. They are also anointed teachers of the Word of God, missionaries, and are helping establish bible schools in different areas. What a joy to be able to share Gods Word to hungry people in Las Vegas. While some are losing their money, I was preparing Christians to be involved in the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Saturday, I had three meetings, two in the morning and a long one in the afternoon, teaching on how to hear and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit to live a victorious life on earth and how to recognize the strategies of the devil to wear us out and steal our joy. I also taught on deliverance from inherited curses and bondages in our minds, hearts and physical bodies. Together, we took authority over the enemy and declared our deliverance. All day, the anointing was so strong; many cried as I prophesied over some of them and we could see on their faces that the chains had fallen off. Jackie had stayed home to work on income tax. To each our own work ha.ha.
Sunday morning, I shared on the power of the Holy Spirit upon us and through us when we are baptized in the Holy Spirit and wow the Holy Spirit did present His evidence by touching our lives. At the evening meeting, I taught how to know and recognize Him so we can flow with Him. Again, I felt like the Holy Spirit in me was coming out and touching the people. All glory goes to Jesus.
We are trying to get ready to leave in a few days for England, 4 days, and France, 15 days, and we need you to come with us by your prayers. There is always spiritual warfare because the devil doesnt let go of his territory easily; the violent take it by force so we need you to war with us. We pray for the Lords richest blessings to overcome you and meet all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. We love you and appreciate you so much as we labor together, each of us fulfilling our different assignments as a part of His body.
